The Household Hazardous Waste Depot in Carleton Place that services much of our region will be shutting down for the season in a little over a week.
After that, those items you’ve been meaning to get rid of get to spend another winter in the garage.
The depot found at 128 Patterson Crescent will be shutting down Saturday, September 3rd at high noon.
Items will not be accepted after September 3rd. But it will re-open in May. Things like auto oil, flammable liquids, batteries, and propane cylinders, are also accepted.
All residents of Carleton Place, Beckwith, Drummond North Elmsley, Montague, Mississippi Mills, Smiths Falls, and Perth can use it.
