Canadian golf legend Lorie Kane and CP's James Clements present the donation to Margot Hallam, ED of the PSFDH Foundation
The CP Women’s Open in Ottawa this past weekend raised just over half a million dollars for cardiac care at the Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital.
The hospital’s foundation was the 2022 CP Women’s Open community partner. The money was raised through the company’s CP Has Heart campaign.
Money was also raised for the cause at the foundation’s golf tournament held earlier this month.
Foundation Chair Kristine Fair said the foundation thanks CP for their support, adding that the total raised was $510,000, all for cardiac care at the two hospital sites.
Fair says the money raised means the hospital can buy essential cardiac equipment that they need to provide quality care the community deserves.
