The ninth annual Almonte General Hospital Run/Walk for Women’s health will be held both virtually and in person this year from September 3 through the ninth.
The goal of the event is to raise money for the hospital’s Obstetrics Unit and to support Women’s Health in general by providing the best medical equipment possible for healthcare staff at the hospital.
Recently the hospital announced that it was able to buy new, state-of-the-art fetal heart monitors thanks in part to money raised through the walk.
Runners and walkers can participate virtually during the week or come out on September 10th to take part in person. The start and finish line will be behind the Hospital.
