Drummond/North Elmsley Tay Valley Fire Rescue volunteer firefighters are performing a vital public service this week and next.
They will be going door-to-door in their townships to check residents’ smoke and CO alarms.
The blitz takes place between 5:30 and 8:30 tonight, then again on Monday.
They also say that all volunteer firefighters will arrive in a fire truck and be in uniform, so you’ll know they’re legit.
