Candidate for Mayor in the Town of Perth, Judy Brown, has received a ringing endorsement from the town’s current and recently acclaimed Deputy Mayor Ed McPherson.
McPherson tells us he was impressed by the work Brown did with a new council and a largely new administrative staff.
McPherson says he has no issue with current Mayor John Fenik, but he thinks with all the change in the town, they’re due for a change at the top.
In the end McPherson says Brown’s experience says a lot about how she’ll be as a mayor, if elected.
In a statement to Lake 88, Brown said she is grateful for the endorsement adding that if she is elected, she looks forward to working with McPherson as Mayor and Deputy Mayor.
Brown, Fenik and Stephanie Drummond are all running for the position.
