Health Unit issues warning about street drug supply after increase in overdoses

The Leeds, Grenville & Lanark District Health Unit has issued a warning an increase of drug overdoses in the area, due to possible Fentanyl in local street drug supplies.

This includes crystal meth, cocaine, crack cocaine or amphetamines.

The health unit reminds you that the Government of Ontario provides free naloxone kits and training, which are available at select pharmacies and directly through the health unit. If you know a drug user, or are one yourself, you should have one.
