The United Way Leeds and Grenville is looking to raise $935,000 during its fall campaign to help support its local agencies.
Last year the goal was $885,000. They blew that out of the water by raising more than $1 million.
While happy with recent successes, Board Member Barry Raison said, “We feel we’ve helped many people, but there’s much more to do.”
He says the goal will need a collaborative effort to be met by the community, but he adds that he knows “the people of Leeds and Grenville are up for the challenge.”
