Its getting closer: Parking restricted as Bridge St. project enters critical phase in Carleton Place

Here’s a warning for drivers who use the downtown in Carleton Place.

Public Works says they’ve reached a critical part of the revitalization of Bridge Street – they’re in the process of paving it, starting with some stone being laid down.

That means that all on-street parking on Bridge Street isn’t allowed from now until the base course asphalt is complete. That will include the weekend.

Only vehicles accessing private driveways and deliveries to businesses without rear access will be allowed. You can still go on foot though.

The town thanks anyone using or living in the area for their patience.
