Stabilization in effect: Health Unit reduces number of COVID-19 reports to just one per week

Effective next Tuesday, Sept. 27th, the Leeds Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit will only be reporting COVID-19 Surveillance data one time per week.

Their data dashboard will be updated weekly on Tuesday by noon.

Here’s Dr. Linna Li, Medical Officer of Health.

The Doctor says the data just isn’t changing as much as it did before.

The change also aligns with weekly reporting from the province and other neighbouring health units.

Dr. Li is reassuring the public that should something important come up, they’ll pass that on to Lake 88 and we will share it with you right away.
