Here’s your Hometown Hockey Schedule for the weekend of Sept. 23-25.
Friday: The CCHL resular season is underway! The Smiths Falls Bears travel to Brockville for a 7:30 start to open their campaign. The Carleton Place Canadians head up the Valley to take on the Renfrew Timberwolves to start their season. It’s also a 7:30 start.
Over in the EOJHL, the Perth Blue Wings invade the Winchester Arena for an 8:15pm pre-season contest against the Hawkes.
Saturday: In the EOJHL, The Carleton Place Canadians host the Ottawa Jr. Canadians 7pm.
The National Capital Jr C Hockey League has their September Showcase. The Almonte Inferno faces the Metcalfe Jets at 9am and the Westport Rideaus faceoff against the Vankleek Hill Cougars at 11am. All games are being played at the Pierre Lafontaine Arena.
The Senior A Smiths Falls Rideaus take on the Tweed Oil Kings with official puck-drop for the Rideaus Season Opener at 8pm. Tickets available at the door.
Sunday: In the CCHL the Carleton Place Canadians travel to Pembroke to take on the Lumber King, the game gets underway at 7pm. The Kemptville 73’s invade the Bear’s Den in Smiths Falls for a 6pm start.
Over in the EOJHL, the Brockville Tikis are in Athens at Centre 76 for a 2:30 matinee. The New Smiths Falls Bears are in Renfrew taking on the Valley Timberwovles. Puck drop against the Timberwolves is 6pm.
