Smiths Falls council heard the final update of the strategic plan they put together for their four-year term.
It was a challenging time to get projects big and small completed over the past two years, and CAO Malcom Morris said there should be no shame on what they did not complete.
Councillor Niki Dwyer, who isn’t seeking re-election, asked Morris if he had any advice for the next term of council when they set out on their own strategic plan.
This term of council highlighted six key areas they wanted to address in a variety of ways: Housing, quality of life, transportation networks, waterfront development, tourism, and town hall and square upgrades.
