As of Saturday, October 1st the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit will no longer provide Land Control services on behalf of 19 municipalities in Leeds, Grenville and Lanark.
This means changes are coming to a number of common projects in our listening area.
Many municipalities will cover everything dropped by the health unit, while others are contracting it out. It’s best to contact your municipality before any project to find out for sure who you need to talk to.
The affected services include: review and approval of applications for septic system permits, installation inspections, file searches, sewage system maintenance inspections, review of subdivision plans and severances.
