The Carleton Place Youth Centre showcased their new commercial sized and equipped kitchen at a special open house last week.
Executive Director Gail Logan says its another draw that will keep local kids busy, thanks to local donors.
The large kitchen project was a true community team effort with generous local businesses, youth and volunteers working together to make it happen.
The centre’s Kidz in the Kitchen program teaches kitchen and food safety, basic cooking, budgeting, healthy meal planning and teamwork skills.
