Our local Fire Departments are teaming up with Co-operators, CanOps, and the National Fire Protection Association for Fire Prevention Week, which is now underway.
This year’s theme is “Fire Won’t Wait. Plan Your Escape.”
The group says we can all appreciate and understand the importance of working smoke alarms in the home, but the question remains – do they know what to do when the smoke alarm sounds?
They’re challenging all Ontarians to celebrate the 100th anniversary of Fire Prevention Week by Planning an escape route for each family member, and practicing it.
