Two more COVID-19 related deaths were reported in Lanark, Leeds, and Grenville this past week.
The latest surveillance report, released yesterday by the health unit also shows that there are nine people in hospital because of the virus, that’s up by one. There are two in ICUs, which held steady from last week.
There were 220 high risk cases were reported over the past week, up from 176 in the last report. That increase follows the provincial, and predicted surge.
As for outbreaks there are eight: seven are in congregate care facilities and one is listed in the other category.
