Why your vote means so much to social services

Among those calling on residents in the area to vote is Ramsey Hart, Executive Director of the Table Community Food Centre who says a good, well-informed municipal council is vital for his organization and others like it.

He says the town provides funding and more.

Hart also voting in municipal elections helps organizations like his, and each and every voter.

He says funding comes from the towns they serve and the county. County council is made up of Mayors, Reeves and Deputies from across the region and they’re all being elected right now.
