Today’s the day the Health Unit releases local COVID-19 data in their weekly surveillance report.
Last week the death toll jumped to 124 from 122.
There were also nine in hospital with two in the ICU, but none on ventilators.
There had also been 220 high risk cases reported for the week.
The health unit said the upward trend for high risk cases continued, which is what’s happening across the province right now, but hospitalizations decreased for the week.
There were also eight outbreaks reported, with seven of those in congregate care settings accounting for 111 cases. The eighth was in the “other” category and tallied six cases.
