The theft of eight Doberman puppies has social media ablaze with outrage after the Tuesday morning heist.
A Jasper Avenue residence was the scene of the crime where Smiths Falls Police learned the puppies were taken from the owners’ own backyard.
The suspects were last seen in a grey/silver Honda Accord travelling southbound on Brockville Street.
They’ve been described as two black males in their mid 30’s.
Police are asking the public to come forth with any information that may help, and for those in the area who have security cameras to contact police.
