Lanark County OPP have laid charges against a youth following Tuesday’s incident at St. John Catholic High School in Perth.
A hold and secure was ordered at 10:15 am Tuesday and lasted 20 minutes after threats involving a knife were reported.
As a result of the incident, a youth has been charged with two counts of assault with a weapon, possession of a weapon for a dangerous purpose, and uttering threats to cause death or bodily harm.
No one was injured during the altercation, and due to the suspect’s age, no further details will be released.
The OPP says they won’t speak to it anymore as its now before the courts.
