Here’s where your voting help centre is on election day

Today’s the day local governments could see change big, small, or not at all across Ontario.

As the clock approaches 8 p.m. tonight when the polls close, many local residents will be casting an online or over the phone ballot to make their voices heard today, that is if they haven’t already.

Advanced voting has been open for over a week and even longer in most of our listening area municipalities.

If you need help voting today or are unable to do it remotely, town halls are open until the polls close with staff on-hand to help you out.

Township of Beckwith:

Beckwith Recreation Complex – 1319 9th Line, Beckwith (10-8 p.m.)

Town of Carleton Place:

Town Hall – 175 Bridge St, Carleton Place, (9am-8 pm)

Public Library – 101 Beckwith St, Carleton Place (10:30am-8pm)

Arena Upper Hall –  75 Neelin St, Carleton Place, (8:30am-8pm)

Drummond/North Elmsley:

Perth Civitan Hall (paper ballot voting) –  6787 Lanark County Road 43 (10am-8pm) for both D/NE school board trustees only, council acclaimed

Town of Perth:

Town Hall – 80 Gore St E, Perth (8:30am-8pm)

Town of Smiths Falls:

Town Hall – 77 Beckwith Street North (8:30am-8pm)

Township of Lanark Highlands:

Town Hall (paper ballot voting) – 75 George St, Lanark (10am-8pm)

Mississippi Mills:

Almonte Old Town Hall – 14 Bridge St., Almonte  (8:30am-8:00pm)

Stewart Community Centre – 112 MacFarlane St., Pakenham (8:30am-8pm)

Municipal Office – 3131 Old Perth Rd., Almonte – (8:30am-8pm)

Montague Township:

Town Hall – 6547 Roger Stevens Dr, Smiths Falls (9am-8pm)

Rideau Lakes:

Devices are available for use at all library branches during their regular hours.
