The 2022 municipal election has resulted in a shuffle around the trustee table for the Upper Canada District School Board.
The Board will welcome four newly elected trustees, four incumbents and two acclaimed.
The trustee results of the Monday, Oct. 24 election have all been officially verified now.
Here’s how it played out locally.
Ward 1 has a new representative, Lynda Johnston, who will represent the communities of Mississippi Mills, Beckwith Township and Carleton Place.
Carole Dufort is a newcomer to the Board table representing Ward 2 – Lanark Highlands, Perth, Tay Township, Montague, and Drummond/North Elmsley.
And In Ward 3, Jamie Schoular was re-elected to serve a second term. He covers Merrickville-Wolford, Rideau Lakes, Smiths Falls and Westport.
