Leeds Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit Medical Officer of Health Dr. Linna Li says its time to roll up your sleeves again, but this time for the flu.
Dr. Li says they expect this flu season to be worse than last year as more people are mingling with a lack of pandemic restrictions in place.
She also says all the preventative measures that we’ve learned for COVID-19, like staying home when sick and masking when showing symptoms, apply to the flu as well.
