Old style COVID-19 tests are still good, just check the expiration

You may have noticed that the free COVID-19 test kits available at stores and pharmacies across Lanark, Leeds and Grenville look a little different.

Speaking on Lake 88’s In Focus, Medical Officer of Health Dr. Linna Li says that doesn’t mean the old-look kits need to be discarded.

The doctor says if you’ve had a test kit for a while, check the expiry date on it before you pick up another. If it hasn’t passed you can still use it if need be.
