Firefighters were called to a home outside Perth this weekend for a small fire that is serving as a reminder to us all.
DNE-Tay Valley Fire Rescue says a small fire started in a residence on Otty Way Road, but they got their quickly enough that it wasn’t able to spread throughout the entire home.
They worked quickly too. From the time the call was received to the time it was under control was just about half an hour.
The Fire Department says now’s a good time to check to make sure your smoke and carbon monoxide detectors are working and have fresh batteries. That reminder is usually issued when Daylight Saving time ends, which is this weekend.
