Both the Upper Canada District School Board and Catholic District School Board of Eastern Ontario have announced that their schools are open once again.
The schools had been closed Friday and Monday during the CUPE education workers strike.
School bus transportation will also resume.
In a statement, the Upper Canada Board said in part: “Our schools will reopen to students again tomorrow (Tuesday, Nov. 8) and classes will resume as usual. We know that this labour action has caused disruptions for families, and we hope that an agreement can be reached between CUPE and the provincial government soon. We look forward to welcoming our students back to our schools tomorrow.”
