Lake 88 is hosting a special broadcast at 11am this morning for anyone who can’t make it to an in-person Remembrance Day ceremony.
We invite all to listen, reflect, and remember those who have served our country and those who made the ultimate sacrifice.
There are a number of local ceremonies taking place should you wish to attend one in person.
The Service in Perth takes place at the Cenotaph at the hospital beginning at 10:45.
The service in Smiths Falls takes place at the Cenotaph at Veterans Memorial Park on Beckwith St. Its best to arrive ahead of 11.
In Carleton Place the ceremony begins at 10:40am at Memorial Park at Veteran Way at 46 Franklin St.
The Almonte Legion’s ceremony begins at 11:00am.
Merrickville’s branch of the Legion hosts one at 10:45am at the Merrickville Cenotaph.
Westport hosts a ceremony at their Cenotaph at 11:00am.
The ceremony in Beckwith takes place at 1:00pm at Beckwith Park.
Brockville’s ceremony takes place at their Cenotaph at 11.
Please check with your local branch of the Royal Canadian Legion or Town Hall for ceremonies in or around your community.
