Lanark County OPP have identified the deceased man following a fatal collision on Highway 7 in Perth Friday morning.
Police say say 31-year-old Drew Nadeau died at the scene after his passenger vehicle collided with a transport truck around 3:45 a.m.
The Ottawa Police Service confirmed Nadeau worked as a Constable and was on his way home from a shift when he collided with the truck.

The driver of the transport truck is uninjured.
“Drew was just 31 years old. He was an incredible young man who served his community with pride and dedication. He was hired as a police officer in March 2020 after serving as a firefighter in the military for several years,” Ottawa Police said in a follow-up tweet.
Nadeau was also a former volunteer firefighter in Perth, the Town confirmed on social media Friday afternoon.
OPP are still investigating the cause of the collision.
They’re asking any witnesses to come forward, and call them at 1-888-310-1122.
Marked detours are in place at Hwy 7 and Hwy 511 on the west side of Drummond St, and Drummond Concession 7 on the east side.
