The Rideau Ferry Bridge will close down completely to traffic for one more day before work on it is done for the season.
It will be closed on Thursday, November 24th from 8 until 5 so they can complete the first round of work on restoring the bridge. They’ll do the rest in the spring. They had hoped to get it all done this year, but labour shortages and material costs have extended the project.
If you use that bridge in your daily commute, pick another route. Signs will be up to remind you.
