Build a Mountain of Food marks milestone after successful weekend in Smiths Falls

It was another successful weekend in the Build a Mountain of Food Campaign, which stopped in Smiths Falls on Saturday.

Just over 51,500 pounds of food was collected, and more than $40,000 donated.

A milestone has also been met, as the campaign has now brought in more than 2 million pounds of food since it started in 2007.

Next week, Mountains will be built in Elgin and Westport.
