The Blakeney Bridge in Mississippi Mills will re-open today, several days ahead of schedule.
The bridge closed on November 14th for a two-week repair-period, which also saw its load capacity restored.
The bridge consists of three structures crossing the Mississippi River between Almonte and Pakenham and is located on Blakeney Road just west of Blakeney.
Lanark County Public Works Manager Sean Derouin says all the structural steel repairs and concrete deck top patches have been completed, so it will be good to go at about noon today.
The bridge is still scheduled to be replaced within the next few years.
