Mississippi Mills council mulled over the 2022 budget again this week at their Committee of the Whole meeting on Tuesday.
After many considerations, the group removed tens of thousands of dollars in spending on things like a new truck for public works, and an LED projector at Almonte Old Town Hall.
They also moved money around. For example, the Kirkland Gazebo will now be completed next year and the dog park will also be looked at down the road.
The recommendations and the recommendation to approve the 2022 budget will be considered at Council’s March 1st meeting.
