A four-storey residential building dedicated entirely to rent geared-to-income is coming to Smiths Falls.
After a couple of separate attempts and funding debates, council was able to approve a site plan agreement last night.
The 28 units will be located at 44 Chambers Street, which mayor Shawn Pankow says is an ideal locale.
One, two, and three-bedroom units will be available.
Smiths Falls senior planner Karl Grenke outlined its affordability.
Also approved Monday was a site plan for 96 Lombard Street, where a gas station, convenience store, and fast food restaurant will be built.
