There was good news for some Smiths Falls organizations last night as community grants were allocated.
While who was getting how much was decided earlier this year, eight groups saw their community grant applications made official.
The largest piece of the preverbal pie went to the Table Community Food Centre, as $40,000 went to back the future Food Hub.
Among the other recipients: Big Brothers, Big Sisters Lanark County also got a $25,000 slice, the Railway Museum of Eastern Ontario saw a $23k piece, and Cornerstone Landing Youth Services will receive $10,000.
