Cycling Without Age Lanark County is hoping to grow.
The international non-profit spans 51 countries and offers trishaw rides to senior homes residents.
The group’s Treff Peters says the local branch have two trishaws throughout the county presently but are hoping to purchase more.
Peters adds there’s been training sessions done at Lanark Lodge as well.
After meeting the CWA founder, spokesperson Treff Peters said he hopes to get the younger generation involved.
There are 61 volunteer requests to be a pilot. If you’d like to sign up, you’ll have to complete a background check and training.
