Days will start getting longer after this weekend, as Sunday morning is time to reset your clocks for Daylight Saving Time.
While phones and most electronic devices connected to a network will change automatically, the old fashioned (and reliable) analogue models, those on coffee makers and on stoves and microwaves will have to be switched.
Don’t forget your car too.
Ontario, B-C and Quebec have all either passed legislation to move permanently to daylight time or have indicated they’re open to following Yukon and most of Saskatchewan, which don’t change their clocks.
However, the change is dependent on their neighbours also deciding to switch to daylight time, which means the debate will rage on for some time.
Here in Ontario, Quebec and New York State would have to be on board with keeping time where it is before any permanent change is made.
