MPP for Leeds-Grenville-Thousand Islands and Rideau Lakes, Steve Clark, announced more funding for long term care facilities in his riding, as part of the province’s plan to increase staffing levels, which would mean more direct care for residents.
Mapleview Lodge, in Athens gets close to $524,000 for additional staffing to increase the hours of direct care for residents, while Rosebridge Manor, in Jasper, will get a little over $540,000.
Hilltop Manor Nursing Home, in Merrickville, gets close to $384,000.
Facilities in Kemptville, Brockville and Gananoque will also receive funding.
