Lanark, Leeds and Grenville recorded another COVID-19 related death Wednesday, bringing the local total to 87 since the beginning of the pandemic.
The number of hospitalizations is still 15. With eight in ICUs (that’s down by one) and four ventilated (the same as Monday). Medical Officer of Health Dr. Paula Stewart says people are being hospitalized longer lately, keeping the numbers flat.
Meanwhile, the total number of COVID-19 patients in Ontario hospitals dropped to 611.There are 174 patients with the virus in ICU’s. The province also reported 14 more COVID-19 deaths.
