Lanark County’s Public Works department has hired Paradigm Transportation Solutions to craft a policy- review and update for the county’s traffic calming efforts.
The consultants have a multi-pronged approach at identifying concerns and solutions to make county roads safer, according to Public Works Manager Sean Derouin.
Councillor Rickey Minnille says more funding should be directed to enforcement, because no amount of staff reports will prevent drivers from speeding as much as a ticket does.
Derouin said that’s a recommendation which could be made for this report.
