A new transportation master plan was presented for discussion at this week’s Committee of the Whole in Carleton Place.
Representatives from the town’s consultants provided an overview of their plan designed to cover the next two decades.
Public feedback is important, as Councillor Jeff Atkinson put it.
Recommendations ranged from turning McNeely Avenue into a four lane road, to building a pedestrian/cycling bridge over the river at Riverside Park and improving cycling networks.
A link will be made available on the town’s website for those who wish to contribute opinion.
