Lanark County OPP charged a local man after a firearm was allegedly pointed by a driver at another in an alleged road rage incident.
It happened last Thursday afternoon at about 5:30 on County Road 43 in Drummond/North Elmsley.
That’s when a report came in about a man pointing a black handgun out the window of their car after a brief verbal argument with another driver.
As a result, 20-year-old Perth resident Jacob Fairhurst was charged with pointing a firearm.
Police say a replica handgun was seized without incident and the accused will make a court appearance in Perth in late April to answer to the charge.
