Starting next Monday until December a number of lane reductions will take place on the Rideau Ferry Bridge as it gets an update.
Dalcon Constructors Limited have been contracted by Lanark County and the United Counties of Leeds & Grenville to rehabilitate the jointly owned bridge on County Road 1.
Traffic will be reduced to one lane, using temporary traffic signals and temporary concrete barriers to protect the workers. That means you can expect traffic delays in the area starting next Monday.
While pedestrians can’t be accommodated during construction, cyclists will have access while the work is being done.
