The Perth & Smiths Falls District Hospital Foundation has been chosen as the Community Partner for the 2022 CP Women’s Open, LPGA stop in Ottawa.
Foundation Executive Director Margo Hallam tells Lake 88 its’ an honour.
Details of the partnership will be outlined in the coming weeks, but we know the goal is to raise $500,000, as Hallam said, for cardiac care needs.
Hallam also says that being chosen reflects the tremendous work being done by all at both sites of the hospital.
The 2022 edition of the CP Women’s Open will be held August 22-28 at the Ottawa Hunt and Golf Club, among those expected to take part is past champ and Smiths Falls native Brooke Henderson.
