Game Six of Perth-Carleton Place EOJHL semi-final postponed due to power failure, to be played Saturday

The Perth Blue Wings and Carleton Place Canadians have to wait another day to determine the fate of their EOJHL division, or semi-final, series thanks to a power failure in Perth.

The game was called as the arena went dark in one of dozens of power outages thanks to Friday’s wind storm.

The game will be played today (Saturday) at 7:30 in Perth.

A win for the Blue Wings would send them back to the Barkley Cup for the first time since they won it in 2019, while Carleton Place is trying to force a game seven.

That game, should it be needed, would be played in Carleton Place Sunday at 3:30.
