Mix of virtual and in-person meetings expected for Lanark County Council

Hybrid options and livestreaming of committee and council meetings will continue to be offered at the Lanark County level.

The necessary procedural by-law changes are expected to pass at a May council meeting.

Corporate Services Chair Christa Lowry feels this is the right decision in today’s climate.

County Clerk Jasmin Ralph said they intend to make livestreamed meetings more accessible for residents too.

County staff say there’s a 93% accuracy rate during the meeting which improves to 98% after the recording is completed.
