The Table Community Food Centre is thanking everyone who answered their recent survey about the proposed Food Hub in Smiths Falls.
The Table’s Ramsey Hart, who is one of the central organizers of the new hub tells Lake 88 volunteer interest is high.
Hart says more than enough people have shown interest to fully staff the hub, when it happens.
He also says all involved realize there’s still work to be done.
Hart and others behind the plan are optimistic.
Next up is securing more funding for the project and finding a location where they can set up a commercial kitchen.
