Fire Chief Pascal Meunier took the time to answer the most common question he receives from the public as he addressed Carleton Place council last night in a scheduled report.
Meunier indicated response times are the number one subject, and he detailed some of the factors that affect how quickly they get to fires.
Last year’s response time was just under 8 minutes and for the first quarter of this year it’s down to 6:32.
