A cantina and patio are coming to Victoria Park in Smiths Falls.
Operated by the Chamber of Commerce, the not-for-profit food truck aptly named “CC’s Cantina,” will be the go-to spot for Mexican grub.
Chamber Manager Leslie Richardson told council all about it.
The cantina will also be solar powered, with revenue going back to the community.
It will be between the canal and walking path where an existing play structure sits. That structure will be relocated. Councillor Chris McGuire shared everyone’s opinion that it’s time the run-down structure was fixed and moved.
The hope is to have the cantina up and running later this summer.
