The Leeds Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit reported a drop of seven cases in the number of active COVID-19-related hospitalizations in its first report of the week on Monday.
There are now nine in hospital. The number in the ICU has dropped to three from five. The number of deaths since the beginning of the pandemic remains 98.
The number of outbreaks is now ten. Nine of those are in congregate care facilities.
Meanwhile, Ontario reported no new COVID-19 deaths for the first time in nearly a month in yesterday’s report.
The number of people in hospital with COVID-19 inched up slightly from yesterday, to one-thousand-423.
The number of patients in I-C-Us also saw an increase from to 211.
It should be noted that not all hospitals in the province report data on the weekend.
