We now know how much two local hospitals will receive in operational increases.
The funding announcement was one of several made by the Province before the election was called.
The Perth and Smiths Falls District Hospital will receive an additional $1.3 million starting in 2022/23, an increase of 2.8% over last year.
The Kemptville District Hospital will receive an additional $300,000, or a 2% boost.
The funding is part of the Ontario government’s $827 million additional investment to hospitals across the province, representing a four per cent increase from last year.
