Lanark County Interval House Executive Director Erin Lee made an important announcement for victims of abuse, and the community:
Lee made the announcement on Lake 88, adding that the brand new, homegrown program will make a huge difference in the lives of victims of abuse as they move on with their lives.
The housing will help those who have first lived in the shelter, before moving on to second stage housing, starting the process of living independently and safely once again.
Interval House’s Emma Kinsman says it’s all about moving forward, and a great opportunity.
The purchase of the building was made possible in part by Lanark County and the Provincial Government.
More details are expected in the coming weeks.
